… is an emerging international non-profit organisation that connects purpose-driven professionals with real world challenges through Collaborative Impact Workshops (CIWs). Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our pro bono model transforms bold ideas into practical solutions with measurable social impact.

Launching in 2025, 17Steps will be registering as a non-profit in Europe and will operate through local chapters in cities like Berlin, Zürich and London. Our five-month CIW programmes begin with an in-person workshop and gala, followed by remote collaboration among multidisciplinary teams including policy advisors, designers and strategists. Together, they co-develop projects such as pilot initiatives, toolkits and policy proposals, often in partnership with grassroots organisations.

Membership is open to individuals who share our values and want to contribute to meaningful, community-powered innovation. As a member, you will receive early access to events, collaboration opportunities and future CIW cycles. The first CIW will launch in September 2025 in partnership with Speech Spark, an award-winning education initiative in rural Togo.

Laying the Foundation for 17Steps

17Steps is a grassroots initiative in its founding phase. We are actively preparing the foundation needed to launch our first cycle. While we are not yet collecting donations, we are laying the groundwork for future support by building key infrastructure, including legal registration, branding, tech systems and core operational tools.

This initial preparation phase will allow us to formally register 17Steps as a non-profit entity and ensure future events are delivered sustainably through ethical sponsorships and project-specific fundraising.

We will soon share updates on how to support the mission of 17Steps, including transparent details on how funds will be used once contributions can be accepted.

With your encouragement and interest, we are already taking the first real step toward building an engine for global impact.

Past, Present & Future Workshops?

The first-ever 17Steps Collaborative Impact Workshop is launching in September 2025, focused on SDG #4: Quality Education. In partnership with Speech Spark, an award-winning initiative transforming early learning in rural Togo, this cycle will bring together professionals from diverse sectors to co-create solutions that address global education challenges at both systemic and community levels.

This inaugural workshop marks the beginning of our platform. Participants will collaborate across disciplines, combining strategy, creativity and grassroots insight to deliver tangible, impact-driven outcomes such as pilot projects, toolkits and proposals in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Looking ahead, future CIW cycles will explore urgent themes such as sustainable healthcare, climate resilience and economic inequality. Each cycle will remain rooted in local collaboration while aiming for scalable, real-world impact.

This is only the beginning. As 17Steps grows, we aim to host multiple workshops each year, each producing concrete results, published insights and ready-to-implement solutions for some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
